To remain competitive, a major growth factor can be stimulated through mergers and acquisitions (M&A) that encourage synergies as well as providing access to new geographical areas.
The members’ roles as representatives of their business group seem to be clear, but the important role of the network leader has not yet been clarified. Network members are facilitated by a network leader who, in turn, is directed by a board of managers. The network leader should help to create a positive and knowledge-friendly atmosphere that supports the processes and helps to build trust. The network leader is responsible for organizing the working processes and integrating tools that are regarded as helpful to all the participants.
