Vibration The vibration sensors supplied with the tool are accelerometers mounted to measure acceleration in both the radial (Vx) and vertical (Vz) directions. For both wells, the Vz sensor did not appear to give valid results as the values reported were essentially all zeros, so only Vx is plotted with surface speed during completion of the test matrix (Fig. 7 and Fig. 8). Both wells, there appears to be no correlation between vibration and speed, with exception to Well B at speeds higher than 200 rpm and then there is an interesting event that occurred during the ramp-up from 300 rpm to 400 rpm, where at approximately 350 rpm, the vibration is reduced.
