We believe that in any routing algorithm which depend on residual bandwidth in network links in order to choose LSPs: consideration of the future load value will optimize the routing performance more effectively. Therefore, we propose to build an accurate traffic predictor that will be able to predict the actual traffic behaviour. The future links load depends on many parameters such as network topology, network load condition (inter-arrival rate and holding time of the requests in the network) and the behaviour of selected routing algorithm.
