In the period of continuing adjustments in inner organizationalsettings and exterior enterprise environments – resembling new rules and company possibilities – sleek companies are topic to huge study and learn. For the knowledge, layout, and engineering of recent companies and theircomplexbusiness processes, thedisciplineofenterpriseengineeringrequires sound engineering ideas and systematic methods in line with rigorous th- ries. in addition to that, a paradigm shift appears wanted for addressing those concerns effectively. the most paradigm shift is the distinction of an company and its company techniques as a social procedure. In its social surroundings, an company and its enterprise techniques symbolize actors with definite experts and assigned roles, who think sure tasks that allows you to supply a carrier to its surroundings. moment to that, a paradigm shift is to examine an firm as an artifact purposefully designed for a undeniable venture and aim. the necessity for this paradigm shift, in addition to the complexity and agility of recent corporations, provides concept for the rising self-discipline of firm engineering that calls for improvement of recent theories and methodologies. To this finish, the favorite equipment and instruments of modeling and simulation play a signi?cant function. either (conceptual) modeling and simulation are conventional for knowing, reading, and engineering an firm (its association and enterprise processes).

When the terminal and the databases of the acquiring processor contain the same information, the terminal can start accepting electronic payments. To achieve this, the terminal has to be able to communicate on a periodic basis with the acquiring system and the terminal management system through a telecom connection. The information exchange and the technical connections are also illustrated in Figure 2. As shown in Figure 2, there are many moments when information exchange is needed between the involved actors.

These types of complex multi-actor systems are difficult to analyze and possibilities for policy measures to solve the problems within these systems are therefore difficult to find. On top of it, trying to find policy measures from trial and error is often not possible, especially since the implementation of policy measures in one company could bring along unpredicted and sometimes unwanted results in the whole system and influence some of the other involved actors. An example of such a system in which the involved actors are both technically and organizationally interdependent is the electronic payment sector in the Netherlands.

Hlupic, V. ) Proceedings 15th European Simulation Symposium, SCS Europe, pp. 627–637 (2003) 16. : Theory of modeling and simulation, 2nd edn. de Abstract. In this paper, we present a heuristic approach for finding errors and possible improvements in business process models. First, we translate the information that is included in a model into a set of Prolog facts. We then search for patterns which are related to a violation of the soundness property, bad modeling style or otherwise give raise to the assumption that the model should be improved.
